The U.S. Department of Defense defines psychological warfare as:
"The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behaviour of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement of national objectives.”

In today’s polarized world one of the critical arm of described psychological war is mass media (TV, Radio and press). Through which opinion, attitude, behaviour and perceptions are shaped in a particular desired way. The purpose of this video series is to expose those news creating techniques through which media shape the public opinion.

For this purpose the footage analysed is taken from Pakistani Television Talk show hosted by Shahzeb Khanzada.

The video shows how the anchor uses a particular technique known as ‘Loaded Questions’ Also known as ‘Suggestive Questioning’ and ‘Implicature’

In simple words it is like putting one’s own words in others mouth thereby trapping and creating news.
